It seems to me there are a lot of WDW singles but not so many DL singles. Where are the DL singles?

I live in Calgary, AB and love both parks but DL is much closer to me now.

Heading to DL for my first solo tour in 6 Days!!!

Going to DL for first time in August for D23 Expo!!!! I won't be totally solo though. :goodvibes

I'm going to DL solo in October. Looking forward to doing it all at my own pace. I want to eat at the BBQ place but I'm not sure I have the guts to go there alone - they bring so much food :lmao:

Redondo Beach single male checking in. I visit DL at least every other weekend or more.

I'm originally from the Los Angeles area, so any time I visit southern California, I'm surrounded by people.

A solo DL visit isn't likely to happen unless absolutely no one knows I am in the area! *LOL*

Would love to try it some time, though! :)

LUCKY!!!! :thumbsup2

Thanks Jensmom. It's one of the perks to having every other Friday off, flexible hours and being an annual passholder. I've noticed that you are an annual passholder. How often do you make it to DL?

I'm out in Ventura County and get out to DL when I can. Wish I could go more often. Seems like the crowds have been getting worse with every visit. Maybe the payment plan for the season passes? Cant wait until school is back in, will take a tuesday off and go to the parks.

so you mean i'm not completely pathetic for thinking of going to DL solo? I don't know anyone else with an AP!

I figure I can go/do what I want, stay as long as I want or leave as early as I want. But everyone I know says it would be pathetic to go by myself, so I haven't done it yet. Maybe I will!

Because of geography, I've been to DL five times, but not once to WDW-maybe someday.

Ha. I think you'll be hard-pressed to find someone willing to call you pathetic for loving Disney on this board. :p

Going solo isn't for everyone. I don't prefer it, but I've done it. You may find it suits you, or you may find yourself a little lonely. Like you said though you can leave whenever you want. You'll never know until you try! Don't let people who don't understand your love for Disney stop you. I have friends who are potheads and I think that's pathetic, but somehow my feelings don't stop them from smoking! lol. Go and have a great time. :thumbsup2

I wish I lived just a little bit closer to be able to go more often. When I lived in LA, I would go a lot by myself and it would be so relaxing.

I am always "planning" to go there solo for a one day trip. Fly out of Oakland in the early morning and come back on the last Southwest flight from John Wayne...

Unless something changes, I'm going solo for the 5k and half marathon Sep 1-5. I haven't been to California so this is exciting for me.

I usually try to go once per month. But because I have the SoCal Select pass, I'm blocked out for the rest of the summer. So I have to wait until August to go again. :sad1: I certainly wish I could get there more often like you do!!
