I've been to disneyland.com and can't find a calander showing me when regular, peak, value seasons take place. (For the Disneyland Resort.)

I'm kind of 'planning' a possible trip for 2005 and would like to know when the room rates at DL resort will be the cheapest. Obviously it would be value season but what are the months? Hopefuly this question isn't too confusing...

Thanks in advance!

I don't know if DL spells out the "seasons" like WDW does. I can tell you what I have found out from researching our vacations.

Hoepfully my answer isn't too confusing. LOL

January after the first of they year till spring break is cheap. With the exception of any 3 day weekends. Spring break (Mid march-end April beginning May is expensive. Most of may is cheaper, June-August is Summer break and is more expensive. Labor day-Thanksgiving is cheaper, Thanksgiving week expensive, first 2 weeks in December cheaper, Last 2 weeks in December expensive.

So pretty much anytime kids are out of school is more expensive. 3 day weekend raise hotel prices as do summer break and winter break.

Just after Labor day is very slow, as is most of January and Feb. The DLR hotels offer great discounts to Annual Pass holders and they are reasonably priced if you are staying 4 days or more. Last summer they were offering 99.00 night for the DLH to AP holders. Right now the Paradise Pier is 79.00. There are many nice hotels near disneyland that have shuttle service, it is not necessary to stay on site. Good luck w/ you planning.

Disneyland doesn't have "seasons" like Disney World, which I think makes it harder to anticipate costs. They don't list certain prices for certain dates, just a range of prices.

The hotel prices fluctuate all the time depending on how booked the hotels are. If it's slow, you may be able to get a really good deal. If it's crowded, though, you won't get much of a discount if any. Try Expedia--sometimes they have discounted hotel prices, and you can mess around with different dates. If you want to try an offsite hotel, they usually have more "set" prices and seasons. Good luck!
