I miss Disneyland SO much - it's been five years! I grew up going there every year, but never stayed on site as we had family nearby.

Here's my question: which of the resorts do you love most, which can accommodate 5 people, are the views worth it and which ones? We are DVC now, so I can use points to book rooms - and they aren't cheap! It will be worth it to me to finally take my kids to Disneyland. We're looking at Spring Break '08. My brother just moved to Anaheim, but he and DSIL will have cramped quarters, and DH doesn't like "bunking" with people anyway. He and I visited DCA 5 years ago and DL about 12 years ago (I KNOW, I KNOW!!) - kids have NEVER been!:sad2: We've been to WDW many times.

Since it's been a while, what are some other good area atractions, etc. to do there? We usually spend the whole time at the resort/parks in Orlando.

Thanks for your help - I've been lurking around here and enjoying you DL DISers!:thumbsup2

Think really, really positive, and throw some pixie dust...maybe we'll have GC DVC by then!!! :wizard:

If not, I don't use DVC points for DL. We go very frequently, so we stay across the street on Harbor. If it's a "once in a lifetime" or "once every 10 years" thing, stay at DLH or GC. If points is the only way to stay at those locations---use them!

Grand Cal is the nicest, think Grand Flo meets Wilderness Lodge, but with better dining.

The Disneyland Hotel, however, is better, in my never-humble opinion, for little ones. There's the cool Peter Pan pool, Tinkerbell appears in your room after you turn off all the lights, and little magical touches everywhere. Goofy's Kitchen is right downstairs. Think "Chef Mickey's".

Paradise Pier: I wouldn't.
