DL Pressed Pennies

Does Disneyland have the pressed penny machine? And if so are they changed over to the all Credit Card like most are at WDW? or are any still taking the quarters. Trying to plan for our upcoming trip.

There are lots of pressed coin machines. Most of them are now credit card, but there are some that still take coins.

There's very few that still take coins. Most do cards, several do paper bills.

We avoided the pressed penny machines all week because we forgot to bring change. Then on the last day we realized they take credit cards! I wish we'd take a closer look sooner.

We love going to the bank before our trip, and getting 2 rolls of quarters, and a roll of NEW pennies. Nothing like the clunkiness in the pockets to remind you to stop for the presses.

I agree-- made me sad when they switched. And it was a quick switch-- like less than a week and most of them were converted. We were bringing our 7yo grandson and he was looking forward to doing the pressed pennies like his older brothers had done. Sad!

Not being able to use your actual copper or actual silver coinage is a bummer. I don't want smashed bimetal or zinc.

There are still a few activities you can do in the Penny Arcade with actual quarters.

Besides ParkPennies, are there any other lists for Disneyland? I have 4 books worth for WDW, so I'm excited to start my collection for DL/DCA

2019 was the last year of Pressed pennies with your own pennies in the park. At reopening a few machines had not been switched, they have now. There are some old school crack machines in DTD. Other than that not your own pennies in the parks nor hotels. I agree that site is the best. So glad I got my collection I wanted before it ended how I wanted. That being said Quarter, nickel machines would still have same result. See said website.
