DL Photography Question!!!

I am curious...is there a place to stand at the start of Main Street where I can be above the crowd and take photos with a tripod?? Like up at the RR station or someplace?? Any recommendations?? View i'm looking for is full castle with fireworks as well as a full Main Street view

RR Station is ok, but you might block some view since their are a few rows of benches. Also people show up on those benchs real early suprising since it's an ok not great view. You are far away and the building block some elements of the show.


The plaza inn on the right end is ok, but people sit at the tables to watch the show so you will have to pick a spot carefully. The AP processing center on the left end is ok. In both of these you are only raised a little so they are just alright.

In the hub you could get between the statue and castle and near a garder so nobody is right in front of you but it's crowded you will need friend to help claim space for the tripod.

I though of a good way to get a very well informed answer on this, ask on the photo of the day thread on the community board. If you look at this thread, you may conclude like I, that some of those people must have taken a picture from every angle possible in the park. Seriously a bunch of those posters must have a perfect shot of everything.
