If there are 2 parades during the day am I correct in thinking that the 2nd parade starts at the Main Street end and works it's way back to IASW? So if for example I was watching the parade from Fantasy Land what time would the parade start and finish passing me? I am just trying to figure out what time I would need to be in the area and at what time I would be able to get in line for my next ride (probably one in the same area) and then work out what I could realistically do before fireworks. We are planning on doing this on arrival day when we should land at LAX at 2:15pm. So I am trying to work out a few different scenarios in case our flight is delayed etc.
Thanks.

On the days that there are 2 parades the times are usually 3:30 and 6:30 if I remember correctly.

So the first parade (3:30) will start at IASW, so stake out a spot near there and be the first person to catch it.

The second parade (6:30) will start at the entrance of Main Street, so if you want to catch that parade, then stake out a spot at that end of the park.

Why I say this is that your the first person to see the parade, and also the first person to leave which means while the rest of the park is watching the parade or waiting down by IASW for the floats to get to them, you can sneak around and hit some of your favorite attractions and rides with minimal waits.

Same happens with the fireworks or fantasmic.... everyone floods to those areas to catch that show so chances are good that if you want to skip the shows and hit some rides then you will find it a great time to hit some rides.

Last October on a crazy insanely busy saturday I was there and while the fireworks were going I literally walked onto the Haunted mansion 4 times in a row without any waits, then went to POTC and same thing rode it twice. It was fantasmical!!!

Thanks for the suggestion. I am worried about getting a good spot for the parade at the start of main street for the time we might make it into the park. Thats why I was figuring Fantasy land might be our best bet for a spot.

yeah it might be a bit hard to find a spot on Main Street if its really close to parade time, but keep searching you never know. Even if you have to sit down byt IASW then dont be disappointed, the parade is wonderful.

So if i'm understanding this correctly, If i want:

- a "good place" (secret place shh....;) )to watch this parade &

- want to watch the parade at the "beginning" of the parade...(so i can go on rides when others are still watching the parade).

...then I should watch the 3:30 parade on the path near Alice/bathrooms??

& do you sit on the Alice side or the Matterhorn side?

& what rides would you "go sneak on" afterwards? :cool2:

Thanks, Mystic Path. :thumbsup2

;) Basically start at Astro orbiters and theres a path beside it which will take you towards Alice in Wonderland, as soon as you go throug that path you will see the backside of Alice in Wonderland with a bench attached to it. Thats where I sit.

I started at first to sit near IASW or on Main Street depending on which parade I caught, then headed to (Pirates or the Haunted Mansion and occasionally splash).

The only reason I really love the bench by Alice is cause well although its a spot basically at the half way mark of the parade my favorite floats stop there :) Tinkerbell and the fairies and peter, Alice in Wonderland, and the Lion King
