DL or WDW? Duh DL of course!!

I heard the same bad things about DL and DCA as you Carol but then I was definitely super impressed by DL and DCA isn't as bad as I expected it to be. I agree with my fellow Texan as far as tuning out the bashing. But please do let us know what you think after you get back. I learn so much from both praise and bashing.

You simply can NOT compare DLR and WDW. They are completely different. That is like comparing the local strip mall with its 5 stores to the mall of america with its zillion stores.

I was on the WDW bandwagon for a while - not bashing DL, just visiting the Florida more (as of late). A return to DL this August put me back in the "Why I love DL mood." I really like the rides better at DL... WDW is definately more of a resort feel. But August in Anaheim with a breeze off the coast definately beats August in Florida ; )

Oh don't worry. I plan to have a good time. I know that I will like the experience. I am just curious as to what I will think. (I figure DCA cannot be as bad as some people make it out to be!)

Now if I could just figure out how to get to DisneySea!!! That place looks AMAZING!!!

Carol, the issue with the lack of buffer has been significantly improved. Considering the difficulty in providing this buffer in suburban LA, they've done quite an amazing job.

Matt made me think of this, when we were at DL this summer we stayed a the GC for four days and visited the parks & DD and never left. You know we NEVER cosidered the fact that we were in LA for a minute (until our cab ride to SNA). But in retrospect I must say that the buffering that has been done is amazing.

Also, we noticed that the air quaity seems to have improved greatly since our last visit (or we hit a very smog free time period).
