DL or WDW at Easter?

I know both places will be super busy, but was wondering which would be the smarter pick for Easter. Any thoughts on this? (And no, I cannot go a different week)

I would say Disneyland.

For a real busy period like that, I would say WDW, for a couple reasons.
a)The World has a lot more space, so there will be less physical crowding. Disneyland is going to be jammed, especially narrow areas like Adventureland.
b) more rides offer fast pass, including the newest one, Toy Story Mania. Of course fast pass is essential to beat the crowds.

thank you for the response. May I ask why you chose DL? Will the weather be better? Hotels cheaper? You prefer DL? Etc.

I didn't realize that DL didn't have as many fastpass options. We utilize them all the time. Thank you for your input

We've been to DL at Easter. Yup, it's crowded, but we knew it would be. We used the FP system to the max and took breaks when it was really crowded. Friday night and Sat. nights were absurd! Many locals were there and it was very close quarters. I will have to say that on Sunday evening, the place cleared out considerably and we had a great last evening riding what we wanted to.

I'm sorry but I've not been to DW during that time.

Well it's definitely NOT humid and it's pretty amazing weather, sometimes you'll get a hot Easter, sometimes a cold one but it's never extreme. I've been to Disney World in June and I felt like I was suffocating (in AK) with all the people. I can't even (and don't want to) imagine it during Spring break, one of the PEAK times of the year.

Yes, Disneyland is smaller but I feel it's way more manageable to see more in less time. It's SO easy park hopping at DLR compared to WDW, considering DCA is like 200ft away from DL.

I think the biggest issue is when the local schools spring break falls. I would say DL....IF it does not coincide with local spring break. The other issue is whether or not it is a blackout period for AP holders.

Ah yes, a blackout period for AP's might make a difference. How would I find out such information?

I wish we didn't have to travel during a holiday, but it's the only time we could go next year. I'm a bit fearful of the crowds, but at least being at Disney is better than being home!!
