DL online ticket purchase, eTicket....questions...

Hey Gang -

We plan on purchasing our Disneyland tickets online and using the eTicket option for shipping, printing them out from home. I have a couple questions tho...

~the 20% coupon you get when doiong this, do you get 1 per ticket purchased or 1 per order? and can it be used a few times or do they take it upon first purchase?

~How far in advance can you purchase tickets online? Is there an expiration time frame for using them?

My coupon says, 10% off a single purchase of $50 or more (before tax) or 20% off a single purchase of $100 or more (before tax) valid until Jan. 31, 2008.

Any DL ticket purchased during 2007 must be used by Jan 2, 2008 for the first time and then the remainder of the tickets (for a multi-day park hopper) must be used 13 days after the first use. So by Jan 15 you have to be completely done.

So as long as you are going this calendar year you can purchase right now. If you are not going until 2008 you need to wait until next year to buy them.

I'm just wondering why the web site says a 20% off coupon for a min 50.00 purchase then? and sounds like it's a one time use coupon so should I purchase my 4 tickets seperately and get a coupon with each ticket for each person in my party? would that work?

You think like I do - I was debating doing the same - but have not purchased the tickets yet.

We ordered two tickets and received one coupon. That would make me think it's one per order.

TY! Looks like with a party of 4 I will be placing more than one order to make sure I can get more than one coupon! Can anyone verify the discount? Above poster stated something different than web site.....

I quoted what is exactly what is written on my coupon. Maybe there are different coupons?

after re-reading the web site I see thatit says UP TO 20% off.....so maybe that is when you spend the 100.00....only 10% on 50.00....well I'll still take it! At least the tax will be covered! LOL

The coupons coming in the Fun Card package are 10% off a purchase of $50 or more and another for 10% off a purchase of $15 or more - 2 coupons, with one time use only. Not sure this helps you, but at least you know what's out there.
