...and I can't find info I'm looking for yet.... FP's at DL are still the old school paper kind, right? So are tickets? or do I need to set up a DL account for ticket linking? (If so,why?) the only reason we linked tickets at WDW was for FP+ (evil necessity) so I'm thinking we just need to buy tickets and go?(ahhh sounds like the good old days at WDW) I was planning on getting some tix online ahead of time anyway....

Paper passes and paper tickets. There is an app you can link APs to. Not sure if day tickets can be linked, but not necessary to do so as FP are still paper, for now.

It will be my first time going to DL, too. Will we be able to charge to our room key card? Do you know the limit?

As agamble said, you don't need to set-up a Disneyland account for FPs, but you will need a Disneyland account if you want to make dining reservations. Disneyland also has an app (not as extensive as MDE), which is very useful to have because it does have the current attraction wait times, the current FP return times being distributed, entertainment and character schedules, etc.

Yes and I do not know the limit. I have never hit it and was not aware one existed.
