My plan was to do DL on Saturday 11/15 until late afternoon. Then, again, in the evening on Sunday 11/16 after DD22 and I do the Avengers Half Marathon. On Sunday, we are moving to the Grand Californian, so I was planning that we would go to DCA EMH on Monday.

I thought our hoppers would allow us to get into DL early on Saturday, Nov. 15, even though we are staying offsite, but we got them at a discount so they aren't eligible.

So, my question is, should we do DCA on Saturday when the park opens (what time should we be in line?) rather than going to DL at regular park opening? And plan to do DL on Monday? There are some ticket block outs for Saturday at DL, but I don't know how the Avenger's marathon will affect crowds, since we know virtually nothing about DL.

This is DD's first time in California. However, we are WDW vets and Peter Pan will not be high on our list.

Thanks!

If you have EMH at DCA on Monday, definitely use it! We're not sure how the Avengers Half Marathon will affect crowds because this is the first year that DLR is doing it, so it will be interesting to see if a big group of people come in during a typically slower season.

I would go to DL on Saturday morning even if you don't have MM or EMH. You can still get a good jump on attractions on the West side of the park such as Indiana Jones, Big Thunder Mountain, Haunted Mansion Holiday and Splash Mountain!

If you stay at GrandCalifornian Sunday night you are eligible for EE both Sunday and Monday. You have to go check in at Grand Californian very early Sunday morning. They can keep your bags if your room is not ready.

On Saturday if you are going at regular park opening, it's nice to be 30 minutes early

Thanks, but on Sunday morning I will be doing the Avengers Half marathon, so we don't plan to do a park that morning. I had planned to go to DL to see the evening entertainment and maybe a couple of attractions.

Thanks about the tips for Saturday! I will stick to my plan, get to DL 30 min early and head to the west side. I did want to do some FL attractions, like Alice and Storybook Canal (didn't get to do that last trip).
