DL in June--Thursday/Friday or Saturday/Sunday?

We are going to San Diego to visit my daughter in June. We arrive on Wednesday and leave Monday. We want to spend two days at DL/DCA. She is a Marine wife (he will be in Kuwait) so we can get decent military tickets.
Is DL busier in the summer during the week or on the weekend? Would a Thursday/Friday trip or a Saturday/Sunday work better, or maybe Friday/Saturday? We will be getting one night at one of the hotels as well. It will be me, DH, DD (23) and DS (17).

When in June were you planning on going? Friday June 26th - Saturday June 27th would be a good choice since those are the first days most of the local AP's are blocked out. Weeks prior to that I assume Thursday - Friday would be better.

That is the weekend we would be there! My son is doing a boys state from June 14-21 so we would be going the following week.

Personally, I would do Thursday and Friday. You'll find it much less crowded.
