DL in July?

We just had five fabulous DL days 8/31-9/5. Crowds were low and weather was gorgeous. Now of course we are thinking of another trip in 2016, probably 3-4 days at DL and 3-4 days sightseeing in other So Cal areas. I see that the crowd levels are significantly higher in July, of course, but I would love to hear how that feels in comparison to low level days in early Sept. Thinking of July 19-ish but dates are flexible.

Thanks!!

Mid-July is going to be the peak of the summer season...meaning much higher crowds and (probably) warmer weather. If you've never been in the summer (or during one of the peak-season periods), it's hard to explain how it's going to feel. There will be a lot more people, meaning longer lines for attractions and food venues and a lot more people in the walkways. I guess, think of it kind of like the mall...compare a mid-day on a weekday to the Saturday before Christmas...or something along those lines.

July is our favorite time to go. We go every July and noticed that this past July (with the 60th) was more crowded than it has been in the past. That said, we still followed our general rules touring and fast passes and it was fine. Compared to the time we went on Jan 1st, it was a cake walk. Now that was nuts! We will be going again next July for 6 days. So, yes, crowded, but do-able. It will be interesting to see if this past July is new standard or if it will go back down slightly since the 60th is winding down and some attractions down to get ready for SW.
