DL Hotels perks started today - anyone take advantage of them?

Hi, Today was the first day of the perks for Disneyland Resort Hotel Guests. I'm just wondering if anyone here enjoyed/used the 1/2 hour early entry or the package delivery?

If you did do the Early Entry could you please let us know how it went? Thanks!

We used it yesteday. Got in line at the main entrance at 7:35am and were at the Frontierland rope by 7:50. We were on ROTR by 8:10 but it broke down and it took awhile to be evacuated. Didn’t make it off until 9am. So not sure it was the best use of the extra time.

Provost Park Pass and some other vloggers did it yesterday and it looks pretty heavenly. The line for Peter Pan was almost non-existent.

We used EE at DCA today. While it was nice, we just had bad luck today. We went right to Web Slingers, and it glitched out for about 10 minutes while we were on it. Our car didn't move for a while, and when it did, the screen was blank with nothing to shoot at.

Thankfully, we got off the ride at 7:58, so we were able to beat the regular rope drop crowd on our way to Radiator Springs Racers.....which was closed and didn't open until about 12:30. Then we walked to Luigi's Rollickin' Roadsters, which was also closed, as was Incredicoaster and Goofy's Sky School.

I'm thinking Fantasyland will be the best bet for acctually using the perk to ride a bunch of rides before everyone shows. Those attractions seem to not breakdown as much. Maybe try Space Mountain first (if it is working) and then move to Fantasyland. While DCA has better rides available it seems there is a higher risk of breakdowns there in the weeks ahead.

Is the EE the same as before (other than the 1/2 time difference)? Each park is available to enter early on a different day?

No. They are both available every day

I feel like this could be so much better to spread the crowds a bit rather than having them on one park per day.
