Can I get a DVC discount on a cash ressie at a Disneyland hotel? Also, can anyone recommend a hotel close by if I can't get on property. Thanks.

No, DVC only has cash discounts on DVC resorts.

For other hotels, I suggest you go over to the Disneyland board.

Plus the discount through DVC is not always available.

If you don't have a car then Howard Johnson's or Carousel Inn. If you have a car my favorite is Homewood Suites.
