DL Hotel Questions

I have a couple of questions about the Disneyland Hotel rooms. Okay, three questions.
1 - Do all rooms have a pull down bed in addition to the two queens?
2 - Is there a real mini-fridge or is it like a "cooler."
3 - Are there any rooms that are adjoining and if there are, what are the most successful ways to request? We already requested that the two rooms we booked are as close as possible to each other.

Thanks!

I do not know the answer, BUT... You need to be clear what you are requesting.

If you just mean close to each other - across the hall, diagonal, next door but no door between, you're good with requesting "adjoining".

BUT if you're meaning you want an internal door between them (which is what I think you're wanting), you need to request CONNECTING rooms.

Adjoining and connecting mean two very different things in hotel-speak.

1. As far as I know, the day bed is not in ALL rooms. When you book, the room description will list what beds might be in the room.

2. It was a real mini fridge when we stayed last time, but I can't remember if there was a freezer.

3. If you definitely want connected rooms I would consider a suite. They have 2 and 3 bedrooms suites. There are the bed rooms plus a common living area and 2 bathrooms.

If you just want rooms that are close to each other, maybe call the day before you check in and request it again. Usually they say nothing is guaranteed but they will note the request.

Daybeds are definitely not in all rooms. If you have a party of 5 you will definitely get a daybed room, but if less than 5 you can request it but it's not a guarantee. I've actually never had a daybed for any of our DLH stays. We always get one at GCH, though.

They are mini fridges, Danby brand, from my recollection. No freezer compartment.

Interesting, we have had the exact opposite experience. We always get them at the DLH, and rarely at the Grand!
