Is there a way to stay at the Disneyland Hotel and buy the tickets separate? We have always bought a package except for last year we did it seperate,but we didn't stay on site.

Yes; if I was given the correct information. I am staying at Paradise Pier in about a week and the disney reservationist told me I could purchase a 2 day park hopper at the hotel. (since that's all I need I was estatic I didn't have to purchase a 3 day to park hop) I'm sure this means all of the tickets are available for purchase at the hotels.

When you're making a reservation, tell them you want a "room only" reservation, not a package. They may still try to convince you to go with a package, so make sure you listen carefully!

You can buy tickets online if you want to have them before you arrive. I noticed they have a special this year--5 days for the price of 3. A lot of times the specials are not available at Disneyland, so you should check if you plan on buying tickets there.

Or you can book your hotel room via Expedia and then purchase your tickets when you arrive.

Thanks for the help. Last year I bought the tickets at The Disney Store. I will try the sugestions for the Hotel.
