DL Footwear to Croc or Not

Was at Disney this morning (Paradise Pier) and the adult size with Mickey heads were $37.95 and kids' sizes were $32.95.

I will NEVER again wear ANY shoe to DL but a CROC! I have learned my lesson on that one.

I wear my orthotics in them and may or may not take them out and put them back in a couple times a day just to get a different feeling.

Otherwise, I can't walk from the blisters.

At the end of an 8 hour shift in tennies, by feet and legs are killing me. At the end of a 12 hour shift in Crocs, I'm still a happy, bouncing girl.

My wife and I made a last minute decision NOT to buy crocs for the trip and we are soooo glad!!! We saw many people at DLR with crocs and the crocs visibly were not up to the task. They looked dirty and worn out. Don't get me wrong - I think crocs are great - but for DLR something else is needed.

Not to argue, but, CROCS ROCK at DLR ROCK BIG TIME!!! The people with problems have bought cheap imitations. They're horrible. No support. Awful material that creates foot fungus and smells. Or they've not listened to Crocs fitting advice and bought too small a size. Yipes. I have lots of feet problems and live in Crocs. Not only have I worn them for 2 weeks straight running all over Walt Disney World, I've traveled in them all over Europe and the US for months at a time....walking 12 hours a day, cobblestones, hiking, hard surfaces, etc. They are simply amazing. And great in amusement parks cause who cares if you get them wet! Plus that wonderful gripping ability on iffy surfaces. Give them a go. Well worth the $$$.

Buying mine at DL. I think they would be cute to wear to DL but not sure I would wear them any where else:confused3

I fully agree! I bought myself the brown & pink Mickey "Minnie Janes" just to wear at the parks. I'll also be taking my Nike shoes to switch off.

I think the only other time I'll wear the Crocs are around the house and in the yard. But I'll smile everytime I look at them and think of all the places they took me.

Sounds like they weren't REAL Crocs.

OK....another Croc question for people with foot problems!!! Sorry!

I have flat feet, an achey ankle, and a bunion on my left foot. Can people with foot problems still be comfy in Croc's???

Does anybody have foot problems like mine and still wear them??

Thanks so much,
Linda

You should go to the Croc website, they have all kinds of different types of Crocs, even ones for people with foot problems. I can't wait for mine to get here so we can start breaking them in.

I have an expensive pair of Reeboks I'll be bringing with as well, but even after just a few hours in them my feet ache and I'm dying to get them off, I don't think I could stand it for 5 days! I would love to just wear my flip flops, but they aren't totally practical either, so I think the Crocs are good compromise.

They came, they came!!! The kids' fit really well and they should have plenty of time to break them in good. I love them!! They feel like I'm walking on air! I got the mammoth ones and they are great, but I'm not sure about my Caymens. I went by their sizing chart, and they fit, but my toes are like just at the very tip, almost rubbing, is that right? I ordered the mammoths a size bigger like they recommended and those seem to fit better. I guess I'll have to wear them both a while and see what happens. I hate to send a pair back, I won't get the new ones back in time :(. Now I'm just hoping that dh's fit him. I won't know until he gets back from this training at the end of the week.

I read that the Crocs should not touch your foot except underneath (the foot bed), but mine touched at the top as well, plus when I used the strap, my big toe touched the end.

You can stretch Crocs that are a bit too snug or the strap too short. Put on a couple pair of thick socks. Put your Crocs in the dryer to heat them (maybe 30 seconds or less? Doesnt' take long), then take them out and put them on your thickly-socked feet. (Be sure to use the strap if it needs to be stretched. Wear them until they cool off.

When you remove your socks the Crocs will feel noticeably more loose. :thumbsup2

I got my Minnie Janes today!

They are much more feminine than I thought they would be! They even look cute with skinny jeans! I'm happy! :)

Well, I wore them more today, and they felt much better. I think my toe was just so sore from wearing my reeboks yesterday that any shoe would have botheredm me. I'll just keep wearing them and if worse comes to worse, I will try the suggestion to stretch them out.

I wore my Celeste ones today and boy I have blisters. :(
My others are fine but the celeste, it just makes me sad.
