we wont be going to the parks for 2 days in February.
Any suggestions on fun things to do in the area. Mini golf? etc.
Thanks,
Lynn

Duct tape them to the coat-rod and get some much needed rest?

1 & 3 is hard. Camelot Golfland would be fun for an older kid. If your 3 yo GS "plays older" he may enjoy it. My kid didn't enjoy it at 3.

La Habra children's museum is a short drive north.

But in all candor, my experience with babies and toddlers is that nothing beats a day at the resort pool, especially if yours is heated and has a wading pool or zone.

We have young children and my recommendation is to plan very little activity for the days off. Stay at a hotel with a good kids pool and hang out there for the day. If warm enough, go to the beach - does not need to be warm enough to swim. We don't let the kids do much more than wade in the surf with one of us right there, but they can dig in the sand for hours. There is also a new Great Wolf Lodge nearby that would be fun.

There's a small but decent zoo in Santa Ana that is nice for young children. Or go to the Discovery Cube museum one morning and have the kids play in the room or at the resort in the afternoon.

Or take the kids to Griffith Park for a couple of hours. Or go to the La Brea Tar Pits.

Is that play place in the Garden Walk still there? Busy Bee's or something? Yup, just Googled it, Billy Beez! It is like an indoor jungle gym, sounds fun and age appropriate and you can walk there from DL.

There is also the AMC movie theatre in DTD and exploring the giant Lego store and the giant Disney store, and the giant Build a Bear store as well as a lot of places to have a leisurely lunch.

And yeah, the hotel pool with a few cheap toys is heaven for most kids, although you'd have to be up for swimming with them. Sandcastles at the beach and wading with maybe a picnic lunch also sounds fun and easy.

Have fun!!

thanks everyone! Im so excited
