Hi there!

My husband and friend and I are going to be at Disneyland from December 01-05. Are the fireworks only on the weekend at Disneyland or are they everyday for the Holiday Season? Also will they definitely be the Christmas version of the fireworks? I know DL isn't a big "plan ahead" park but I'm a big planner and since we live in NYC this is a vacation destination for us so want to make the most out of the trip :)

I've seen the Christmas fireworks last year and they were just meh for us so I'm trying to see it only once and see Fantasmic since we've never seen the DL version (it was under construction both times we went in the past). Also would like to see World of Color at least once, since we only saw the 60th version of it. I think it's back to it's original? Anyway, just want to get an idea of the night time shows so we can choose what we want to do and when/which days.

Thanks!

They shouldn't be only on the weekends, but they probably won't be on every single night during the week. The schedule won't be out for quite a while (someone else might know if there is a pattern they follow). I do believe they will be the Christmas ones unless they extend the Pixar show. Also remember that they are often cancelled due to wind, so keep that in mind as you plan. Have fun!

I checked this site which showed times from December 2017: http://www.wdwinfo.com/disneyland/park-hours.cfm?month=12&year=2017

Fireworks were every night and the holiday ones. Fantasmic was only on weekends though.

World of Color will likely be the holiday version, which I actually like more (assuming they fix the platform by then). We won’t know yet if Paint the Night is still running.

Historically, they have done Holiday fireworks every night during the Holiday season.

Historically, the Holiday Season has typically started in mid-November so by the time you get there, they should be presenting fireworks nightly. As a PP said, they should be scheduled nightly, but due to weather (usually wind) they can be cancelled on a semi-frequent basis. It should be the holiday fireworks show. I would guess that that Christmas parade will also be presented daily. Fantasmic! is usually only presented on weekends (Fri, Sat, and Sun) until closer to Christmas. WoC (assuming it's back by then and doesn't experience any more delays) should be presented nightly and it will also likely be the Holiday version.

Thanks all! I guess I'm going to aim to be around Disneyland in the evening for the weekend I'm there so we can see the fire works and fantasmic and then the two week days we'll be at DCA to focus on WoC.
