DL economy hotel

we stayed at comfort inn there in August. Had a free breakfast and a great pool - my kids loved it. We had 0 issues with them. We used to live in Anaheim so we know the area well :)

We often stay at Best Western Stovall's Inn. Love it! Close walk to DL, free full breakfast buffet, nice pool, and hot tub.

We stayed at HOJO. It wasn't exactly budget but the rooms were large and parking was free. It is walking distance to the parks. You can get a mousesavers rate. I would stay there again.

We stay at the Fairfield Inn across the street. They even have disney themed rooms! McDonalds right out front as well.

We stayed at Park Vue which is as close as you can get to the parks. Literally right across the street. When you've been walking in the parks all day, not having to walk a few blocks to the hotel is nice. Free breakfast and a nice room. Free cookies in the lobby a lot of the time and they were delicious!

Candy Cane Inn. Fabulous all the way around. Free parking AND free b'fast. Stayed there last October with teen daughter and walked to parks in about 10 minutes. Never felt unsafe at all.

Agree we stayed there twice last year.

+1 for Park Vue. We are staying at Stovalli's in Jan since it is closer to the race start. :thumbsup2

Desert Inn and Suites. They offer a free breakfast and the rooms are suites so you have a spot to watch TV while the kids are sleeping.

They upgraded us from a family suite that sleeps 8 to one that sleeps 10. We had 3 TV's and 4 queen beds and a sleeper sofa. It was so nice having so much room for less than most other places.

Thank you for all the replies. Is there anything for around $100 per night?
I've stayed at Park Vue & really liked it but I'm hoping for something a bit less

The comfort inn we stayed the week through booking.com and it was 900 for the week....

We stayed at Desert Inn and Suites. We loved the location and we were pleased with the hotel. We were at the parks most of the time though. Only major complaint was that the swimming pool was too cold to swim in despite being the middle of July. We paid $1000 for 7 nights after taxes and fees in mid July.

Depending on your dates, we have stayed at the Hilton Anaheim for under $100/night and in December are staying at the Holiday Inn for $107/night.

Corporate code N0041604 takes 20% off the best available rate at Hiltons, but it is not always available. When it has been available is when we've gotten cheap rooms there.

There is a DISer who has shared his IHG (Holiday Inn brands) F&F link, and that is where we got the $107/night rate. When you book through this the rate is nonrefundable, so just be aware of that.

We stay here every trip. Love the hotel, the free breakfast, and the management. I know alot of people on the DIS like the HOJO, but we feel the convenience of being across the street is the best. The last time we were there they had the rooms redone. Very nice!

A lot of that will depend on when you go and how long you stay. Tropicana has a deal where they take $20 off a night when you stay 5 nights or more. It brought the room down to right around $100 a night before taxes and fees when we were there at the end of August. They don't have free breakfast, but they do have a refrigerator and a microwave so we just did our own continental breakfast in the room (cold cereal, fruit, oatmeal, muffins, etc). They do have a parking fee, but they don't have a resort fee. Best part, it's right across the street from the crosswalk and there are a couple of affordable eating options right there.

We actually had a room booked at the Desert Inn and Suites and moved over to the Tropicana because it saved us about $200. My brother stayed at the Desert Inn and Suites that same week we were there (he had a larger party than we did) and wasn't impressed by their breakfast or pool situation so I was glad we switched.
