DL DIS Podcast fans - get your name on the list for Pete's DL DIS Meet

As you may know Pete (the owner of these boards) is trying to get a list of all of us who would be interested in attending an official DIS sponsored DL Podcast Meet next May, for the first weekend of DCA's Food and Wine Festival. They are at the point of asking who is interested and having them either email the podcast team or else just add your name to the thread that is started.

It would be great if there were enough people to really make this happen, especially for us that can't get over to the East Coast for things like Mousefest and can't do the Podcast Cruise with them later in that month.

If you don't listen to the podcast already, you should. Extremely informative, unbiased, and just a heck of a good time. You get to know the folks who own and run these boards and they are really good people!

We already have reservations for a PP view room May 2-4, 2009. Is this the timeframe Pete is going for? We may do a few F&W event paid meals as we have found most to be worth it.

Molly - Pete says he's in talks with the Disneyland folks to set this up the first weekend of the Food and Wine. I know he said this will be the weeked before the Podcast Cruise (which is May 10). Looks like April 24, but possibly not? Pete said May on the last podcast, so now I'm confused. He said he would keep us posted and should be able to annound it on the first show in January. They'll have packages with and without hotel (for us locals to take part, too). They are going to plan some special events for the DIS folks who sign up.

Kerri - the podcast is the one run by the owners of the DISBoards web site - great fun to listen to. If you go to the very bottom of any forum page, you'll see a link that says DIS Unplugged Podcast. Click it and start listening. You can also sign up for a direct feed from iTunes. It's free and worth every cent!
