DL deals for Jan 2010

When does Disney usually annouce package prices for January. We are planning a suprise trip for our kids in Jan and wondering when and what types of deals they usually offer. We used DVC points last time and were planning to do that this trip, but if there are offers like the buy 3 get 2 that is being offered now, we will save our points and take advantage of the deal. Thanks!
