How much are these for the Paradise Pier? We're going in May/June and I would like to know how much more they are, and what the benefits are.

Any discounts for AP?

Is it worth it?

Advice appreciated!

We stayed one night at PPH concierge...it was worth it for us because it was only $20 more than not concierge (using the AP4 rate code, not sure if any dates would still be available but worth a shot if your dates are during the rate code promo). We paid $189 I think for the pool view concierge room. We used the lounge to check in since there was a small line at the front desk and I left my mom & daughter in the car (DD was sleeping). CM was very nice and friendly. After we checked in (but couldn't get our room #) we grabbed some cereal, fruits and drinks (waters and soda). We went back for uncrustables and cookies and more fruit and drinks in the afternoon. We also made it to the late afternoon snack which had fruits, cheeses & crackers, deep fried shrimp, desserts (macaroons and rice crispy mickeys) and chips and salsa. Also beer and wine but we didn't get any of those as we just stopped in and grabbed a few things to supplement our meals we bought at white water. we were in our room during turndown so we said no need but got the chocolate coins anyways. We went back to the parks and came back to mickey rice crispies in our room. A nice treat that went completely to waste as we didn't eat a single one in the 6 days we were at Disneyland. Was it worth it? For only $20/nt to have access to that, yes. But IMHO, after staying on property (one night PPH concierge and 4 nights standard no view GCH) this trip but off property 3 trips prior....we are Harbor motel loyals. The same time period I could have gotten a room at Desert Inn for an avg $59/nt. So we paid roughly $150/nt more staying on property (when you add in 15% taxes and the resort fees), the walk was farther and so was our car (and Mimi's Cafe so we only ate there once). If you're set on staying on property and have the money for concierge it is worth it. The CM told me we are welcome to take some drinks with us when we were leaving the lounge. We also never ate any of our snacks in the lounge but rather grabbed them and left. But we're budget people who rather spend the extra $$ on souvenirs and other experiences so no more property stays for us.
Edit: I just noticed you did mention when you were going...May/June. I don't believe there are AP rates out but I think I read before that you can make reservations and get 10% off rack rates with an AP. Not sure how much more concierge normally costs but I am pretty sure it is more than $20.

Thanks for the info. We have never stayed on property in DL although we have the 3 times we've been to WDW. I agree with you in that I don't think its necessary to stay on property, however, we are also going in Dec. and getting a AP, probably for the one and only time. We are going on a disney cruise June 1-8 and thought we would stay on property for 3 days before and 4 days afterwards just for a treat this ONE time. (we've stayed in various hotels in previous visits ie Fairfield Inn, Jolly Roger Hotel, Sheraton Anaheim. This Dec. we're staying at the Ramada Maingate! I got a really good deal on it).

If the concierge was worth it, we might spring for it. I read in an earlier post that breakfast and snacks were included. This might save us money in the long run as we are a family of 5. An earlier thread someone mentioned that they only paid for one meal a day, and had breakfast and then evening snacks instead of dinner.

We're also Canadians, and the dollar for us is good right now! (however, what is might be in the future, who knows!)

Any other advice would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Where might I find information on what is included in the concierge service and how much it might cost?

Sounds great!
