DL closing early Monday 9/19???

Weird - on the entertainment schedule it shows DL open from 9:00am-6:00pm on Monday 9/19 rather than 10:00-8:00pm like the rest of the week. At first I thought it was a mistake. But, even the Street Party parade is bumped back to 5:15. Anyone know what's up?

whats DCA's hours? if its extended then its for sure a private party...

I noticed the same thing too - we are going to be there that week. DCA has the hours listed as 10-6. So no change.

apparently there is a big convention who has rented out DL for a private party.

Me either! We are only there Monday and Tuesday. All the way to CA from NC, and we get a shortened park day! bleh Still - - its better to have a short Disney day, than no Disney day at all!

well its only being shorten by 1 hr since they will be open 1 hour earlier. I also will be there durring this time. Any thoughts on Crowed size? are we going to get slammed like the people who are going now are getting slammed???

School's back in session. The parks are very empty now until October.

ALL weekends are busy nowadays.
But weekdays in Sept should be very quiet. Even though that Monday has such short hours, I'll bet you can walk onto just about any ride you want.

Busy compared to weekdays. It's still not that busy, especially on Saturdays. October weekends get packed, but September weekends are awesome and light. This past weekend was not bad at all. Even Toy Story Midway Mania peaked at only 40 minutes on Sunday.
