DL Cats

Just curious -- Has anyone seen any of the DL cats roaming around during your visit?
(Seems almost like a Hiiden Mickey -- Hidden Cats )

<font face="Comic Sans MS"><font color=#006400>I've seen them a few times.

Once on the Jungle Cruise, there was a cat sitting up by the lions (the ones who watch the sleeping zebra), and our skipper said it was an animatronic cat.

The most recent sighting, and still causes Kelly & Mary Alice (my & Teri's dd's) to grin at the memory is the black cat that crossed our path - the same night that Tink33 & TLK got ... um ... soaked on Splash Mountain.

We saw a cat roaming down by the boat docks on our last visit. Of course, my children wanted to take it home. Somehow, it didn't look out of place!

Are they supposed to be there? Is there a story as to how they are there?

The cat we saw was obviously well cared for. Warmed my heart, and is one of those memories I will always hold on to.

As I always say, take time to see the roses!

There were at few cats that lived at the Big Thunder Bar B-Que. Now that it is closed, I don't know where they are????

I saw a couple over by the tomorrowland train station in the bushy area..

My DH will be so thrilled. We were there in March. He SWORE up and down to me that he saw a "huge" cat - looked larger than a housecat to him but smaller than a bobcat - on the shore while we were taking the paddlewheeler ride on the Rivers of America.

I told him he was "crazy!" There are no housecats OR bobcats in Disneyland! I tried to convince him that it was an audio-animatronic (sp?) creature and that he had been fooled - but he SWORE that it moved back into the bushes.

We saw an orange tabby cat over by the Indiana Jones ride just last week. It was big and healthy looking, so the DL cats are obviously being fed by someone!

We just visited DL 2 weeks ago and we fed 3 of the cats. We ate at the fast food restaurant next to the Country Bear Jamboree (can't remember the name). Anyway, we were out side eating and 2 cats came up and roamed around. They were obviously very tame. I ended up feeding them all the meat from my sandwich. They were a gray tabby and looked to be from the same litter. About the time we were finishing a beautiful white cat showed up but was very timid. I threw him my last bit of roast beef from my sandwich which he took. We have been to DL many times over the years but had never seen any cats. It was a lot of fun to see them.

A few years ago, I saw a couple of cats wondering around the Old Mine Train that stationary on the tracks. I saw them from the Mark Twain... Too cute.
