DL Bday July 17th special things?

Hi all! We are going to be there on DL's Birthday. Do they have anything special going on? Pin? Special Flag ceremony? I know it isn't one of the milestone ones and I don't see anything special listed on their website, but I am hoping they will have some mention of it in the park that day.

My DH and I were wondering the same thing. We thought we might get birthday buttons for the occasion!

I got a birthday button yesterday. My sister told the clerk at the Emporium it was my birthday, and she pulled out a pin and wrote my name on it. I think you can also get one at city hall. Happy birthday!

The 17th of July is The Birthday of Disneyland.

That's our arrival day and the CM on the phone when we made our reservations told us that "something special" was planned but I bet it's just like the video the PP posted.

I love seeing this date on my calendar. Hubby and I got married on this day and as we were celebrating our wedding our photographer told us " you would get married on the birthday of Disneyland" We had no idea as we were planning. we did have lil Disney in our wedding tho

Last summer we visited during DLR's bday and we asked several CM's if there was anything special planned. Most of them responded that they had not heard anything. Then finally another CM told us that there would be a small presentation on Main street, with a name being added to the window. We didn't see anything special when we were there
