DL 11pm Parade after FW at ROA

Hi, is it doable to watch the fireworks on Monday, 8/17 (first day block lifted for CA residents) at Rivers of America (will have BB FP for F!) and then walk to Main St. and find a spot for the 11pm parade? If there aren't any spots left, do you think there is a spot to view from that's decent without being in the front? It is just me (mom) and son (14). Thanks!

We didn't even try to Main Street, doing this same plan (but we're a family of 6) - however we did find great seats right outside the entrance to Pixie Hollow. The benches were already taken, but there was a large area at the end of the bench (literally outside PH entrance) that we were able to snag without a problem. We were the only row, so could chose to sit or stand and the floats are really close when they come by which was cool.
