In one word - AMAZING! I will definitely be using their service the next time we fly into SNA for Disneyland or any other Anaheim/LA trip. The driver was communicative through email & text (our flight was slightly delayed). And was there when we arrived. He had a cart he piled high with all our luggage (we had a lot!) and carted to the waiting Suburban in the garage. The car seat for our 2 year old was clean and installed correctly (I tested it). We stopped at the grocery store as promised (I requested Von's). He unloaded our bags. Flawless.

For the return the driver (same man, I wish I had his name) was at the hotel 15 minute ahead of our scheduled pick up time. Helped us unload the luggage at the curb and was on his way.

Thoroughly impressed with the service. Especially after the concierge at our hotel recommended a private car for transport from the hotel to Knott's and it was a disaster causing us a 90 minute delay with a taxi first arriving (supposed to be a private car) with no car seat, then a car seat arrived that didn't work for our daughter, then a car arriving that was too small, and then finally a huge passenger van and car seat. That company was TNT and while the concierge said they never had this problem before I would not recommend the company.

As I said in an earlier thread, they were a no show on my transfer from DLR back to the air port. Offered me a free trip next visit and credit on my account, but I still had to grab a cab and almost missed my flight

Sorry to hear you had a bad experience, ours was flawless.
 
I used DK for my trip December 1-7. The round trip between LAX and GCH was great. I would definitely use them again. :goodvibes
 

We used DK Livery in September from SNA to Disneyland. Very poor experience and we would never use them again.

The car seats were not installed at all when the driver showed up (although they were sitting in the car as if they were). I had to remind the driver a few times about stopping at the grocery store. The final reminder was as we were 2 blocks from the hotel, so he turned around and went to Target.

Despite requesting 2 car seats when we booked the service and reminding them when confirming pickup - the driver showed up with only 1 car seat. So we had to sit our 2yr old on a seat.
 
We were really looking forward to reserving a car service with them per all the good reviews. However, requested a quote from their website on Saturday, no response. Then on Monday, requested a reservation on their website and still no response! We needed a response quick considering we arrive on Super Bowl Sunday. We are just renting a car instead.

Disappointing!! Speaks volumes about their customer service IMO. :mad:
 
I'm surprised you didn't get a quote from them!

We just booked with them and are hoping for the excellent service described here! :)
 
We used them when I went out for the Tink races. The driver picked us up at SNA (he was holding a sign with my name on it in baggage claim). Toddler seat for our 4-year old was installed. We stopped at Vons for groceries and he pointed out some landmarks on the way to GC. For our return, he picked us up 15 minutes early and got us to LAX. We were very happy with the service. I'm sad to hear that this has been inconsistent, though.
 
We just returned from a trip to Disneyland and used DK Livery Service to and from SNA. Service was fantastic. The driver was on time and courteous - although he barely spoke. We stopped at Vons on the way. And used 2 car seats and 1 booster seat for our group - all were in good condition and clean. It was great to have a driver and car large enough for us, who provided car seats so we would not have to travel with them, and was on our schedule (not stopping and waiting for others) I would recommend DK Livery without hesitation.
 
our pre-pay invoice included gratuity and was competitive with other services before you included seperate gratuity.

i think they just include it as standard cost of the service. or if you like, look at it as a no gratuity needed service.

we had them late December, no issues. would use again.
 
So glad you hear good comments on DK Livery. Did they just change their name to Lansky?

We just booked them for our trip on March 11-15. Hope our service is going to be fantastic too.
 
My invoice says 'Daniel Kang, Lansky Enterprise, DK Livery.' So maybe it is the same company?

Actually, I believe they are one in the same. When you book DK Livery it says Lansky Inc. I booked them as well and hoping they are good. (Fingers crossed). I actually booked on the great reviews they were getting on these boards over the past year.

Anyone who used their service, do you have to confirm with them again a day before? We usually rent car for trips and this is our first time using service like that.

I don't think you HAVE to confirm, but I did for peace of mind. The week before I emailed them to confirm & then the morning of I texted the driver to make sure he had my cell # (and make sure he was watching our arrival time since our flight was slightly delayed).
