Ok so we are down to the last days before wedding and all this time I stressed to planner that I wanted dance floor lighting.. She has assured me that dance floor lights (aka colored flashing lighting) was included.. I wanted more then just uplighting and wanted a "club" atmosphere.. We just got off phone with dj and he said he does not bring any lighting... Who actually provides the lighting? I Assumed the dj controls the lights so they go with music but idk.. Now I'm wondering what's actually included in this dj/lighting package.. It says dance floor lights and gobo lights and spot lighting.. Would appreciate any input on this lighting package.. Called planner but out of office and emails are slow to respond

If you're going through Disney for the DJ, I believe Disney provides the lighting and sound equipment. They have a list of DJs they work with who are used to the arrangement.

For our wedding we had the DJ package which included the lighting, we chose the color and we chose the gobos. I do not recall the lighting being anything even remotely close to a club atmosphere or changing at all from the color we had asked for.

That is correct, in every ballroom reception area (except Atlantic Dance Hall), Disney provides basic floor lighting with the DJ package. The basic lighting package is colored lights highlighting the dance floor and/or a gobo. If you want a nightclub atmosphere/club lighting, that would be an additional package, of which Disney can provide.

At Atlantic Dance Hall, there is always a Disney lighting technician in addition to the DJ, and club lighting is part of the package, as it is already built into the venue.

Hope this helps!
