Dizzy Dolphin Delivery

I was thinking about using this company for grocery delivery. For anyone who has used them what are their prices like?

I am staying at a Disney Resort. They definitely allow outside deliveries.

Dizzy Dolphin is who we are using this time. We've used Garden Grocer in the past. What I like about DD is that you can put specifically what you want rather than pulling from GG's list of what's available. I follow their Facebook page and they seem like a lot of fun.

Their delivery charge is $14. We have used them twice and were happy with the service. I got a quote from DD for our upcoming trip, but it seemed high. We are trying Instacart this visit. They shop from Publix and the prices were in line with regular grocery store prices. Also your first delivery is free.

Both delivery alcohol if you are interested. DD has an additional $10 charge for alcohol delivery. DD does not require you to be present for deliveries with alcohol included. With Instacart you must be present at the time of delivery.

Also Instacart only allows delivery to be scheduled a week out. With DD you can schedule your delivery well in advance.

We used dizzy dolphin in April after years of using garden grocer. We loved their service. I liked that I could give them specific brands and they gave me a quote before I paid, allowing me to adjust my order. I didn't mind paying the delivery fee or the extra $10 for the order from Total Wine. They were super friendly and they texted to let us know they dropped our order off with bell services, no $5 fee for packages handled through Bell Services.

I'd rather support a small business than garden grocer so even if it comes out a little higher we will be using DD in the future.

We've used Dizzy and Garden Grocer. We were very happy with Dizzy Dolphin and highly recommend them. They will get exactly what you want for brands etc. Communication, prices, overall service all excellent with DD and we'd use them again over GG.

They also have partnerships with a really amazing bakery (I sent gift cupcakes that they picked out and delivered for me), and the aforementioned Total Wine, plus they put together gift baskets that look as good as Disney F&G but nowhere NEAR the cost. They've got a Facebook page full of pics, too.

When you put in your order, it's essentially a request for an estimate, and when they respond, usually within 24 - 36 hours, you'll get a total for each item. Everything is bagged really well, meaning my alcohol was wrapped within an inch of its life.

I've got an order in for our trip in 2 weeks, and was debating about whether or not to get an early birthday cake for DS since it's just the two of us. Wound up having a phone conversation with them and was able to get a little cake with writing for a VERY reasonable price, much less than if I'd ordered a cake from Disney F&G.

So, yes, I'm a fan.
