DIY insurance

Having booked our flights yesterday and paid deposit on timeshare, I now need to sort out insuarance.
Does anyone have any recommendations, do I need a more comprehensive one as we;re not part of a package?

we have an annual cover with Virgin Money as it worked out really well for us as DH as a couple of medical conditions.

Do you get travel insurance with your bank account? A lot of people do and you may need just to pay a little extra to get world wide cover though.
