Yes we've made it.

Flight was fine. Was an italian plane and cabin crew not monarch. We got seats as a 2 and a 1 across the aisle. Dh chose to sit next to dd so I had a relaxing flight.

Landed 50 mins early and straight through Sanford immigration and got car from dollar - ford edge.

Condo is nice at Bahamas bay - 2 bedrooms and a lake view.

We were hungry so ate at gators dockside at cagan crossings as it was opposite Walmart. Tried gator tail - in nugget form as an appetiser. Used the kids eat free card - thanks for sending that zippy99.

Did some shopping at Walmart then all in bed by 8.

Planning a quiet day today - swimming and shopping.

Will post some pics later.

Thanks for the updates. I've found your trip so exciting, perhaps because I saw your post about booking it the week before & of course the surprise for Anna. Like one post said "her face says it all".

What do you think of the Ford Edge ? We have had 2 of these and I love them.
I read your arrival post a little too quickly and I thought it said, We were hungry so we ate a Gator!.......well I guess his tail counts

I LOVE the fact you surprised you little girl at the airport,The picture shows her excitement perfectly with that big smile....shes beautiful , we still have No idea how to surprise the boys!
we also want to wait to do it at the airport and so im pleased that somebody else has done it and it worked well I have a while before i have to decide and we all talk about Disney all the time as the boys think we cant afford to go until 2 years time so hopefully i wont slip up!! hope you have a brill time.

Had a good first day. We ended up at mco this morning to swap the car as it had a problem with the air conditioning. Got another ford edge but seems to be a better model - dh is happy.

Had brunch at first watch on sand lake road which was good. First time we had eaten there, it won best breakfast in the sentinel awards. Lots of locals having brunch. Used a coupon for a free brekkie for joining the email club.

Went to Florida mall build a bear and casual male big and tall - they had both sent coupons which expired today.

Been in pool and just debating where to have tea.

First Watch was really good when we went last year (or maybe it was the year before?). A bit different to the 'norm' for breakfast - more healthy!

Sunday evening we ate at Uno's pizza. The deep dish was ok but preferred the giordanos one we had in October. Dd loved it as they had a make your own option for kids-used kids eat free card again.

Sunday evening we went to the boardwalk for a stroll and had some cakes from the boardwalk bakery. It had rained heavily just before we arrived at the boardwalk but we managed to miss it.

Today-Monday we had a great breakfast at cracker barrel - thanks Julie for the pics last week which made me determined to go!

Then all day 10-5 at legoland. Was red hot 30 plus degrees today and lots of school groups in. Dd managed to ride everything she wanted and we also had a stroll through cypress gardens which we had missed in October.

Ate at Mandy's at Haines city on the way back up. Called ahead so had no wait. I went for the 8oz early bird special which I really enjoyed. Was kids eat free - dd had kids steak and ate it all after our busy day.

Really heavy rain and thunder this evening. Having an early night before mk tomorrow.
