I'm tempted to go to Dolly Parton's Dixie Stampede. Anyone experienced it? Any good?
Thanks

I haven't been to the one in Orlando, but was at the Myrtle Beach location in April. I had a lot of fun. The show is entertaining and the food is good. In case you don't already know, there is no silverware. Some people are put off by that, but you really don't need it with the type of food you are served. As far as Disney dinner shows, I've only done Spirit of Aloha. I found Dixie Stampede is much better in terms of value and entertainment. You can get discount tickets at AAA or Ticketmania.com

I know it's not Disney but I will tell you that other than the Hoop Dee Doo which most of us swear by... the Dixie Stampede is a fan favorite of most of the CM's that I know. My hubby and I went and absolutely loved it. We had a great time. Highly recomended

Dixie Stampede gets high marks from me, too. Great fun for all ages, good food, good value for money. Be sure to arrive early enough to meet some of the horses outside the arena!

Anyone know what is the best price for tickets to Dixie Stampede in Orlando? I couldn't find a coupon for this in my Entertainment book.

Thanks!

I think you can get coupons from the Dixie Stampede website, if not they are in almost all coupon books that are avilable all over the place in Orlando. I had an Orlando Magic Card that gave a $4.00 off coupon. I think ticketmania.com has them also. We were there in April and enjoyed it very much, especially the pre-show show.

The Orlando Dixie Stampede is now serving alcohol, if that matters to you. It's the only one in the franchise that does.

To be specific, they serve beer and wine but not hard liquor. They are very careful about checking ID, so if you plan to enjoy a glass of beer or wine, make sure you have an acceptable photo ID (DL, passport, military ID). I know that many folks from the UK don't have a photo ID except their passport and if you don't have ID and don't look obviously over 30 you may not get served.

I haven't been to the Orlando site but I have been to the Pigeon Forge site. We took our three girls and had the best time. I was a little leary about how expensive it was, but it is well worth the money we paid and then some!! You should try it for sure.
