Yes, that's what I saw last week at POFQ. I really looked hard, because I didn't recognize the design. Also saw old POR mugs, Wilderness Lodge, Pop Century, and generic no name mugs. But the Dixie Landings one cracked me up. It still looked brand new!

That is funny. :) I am not so sure I would have the nerve to bring a Dixie Landings mug, or if I would even want to use it! I can't understand re-using mugs anyway. You spend thousands of dollars on a trip and worry about paying $12 or $13 for a mug? :confused3 I would never say anything to them, but it is very funny. I do so enjoy watching people while at WDW. I see so many interesting folks! :goodvibes

just got back from POP and DH mentioned a few times that he saw a variety of mugs.. from Allstar Sports, the POP mugs from 2 years ago when we went... even just regular cups..

I wouldnt have the nerve to say anything either but chuckled when he told me.. :)

We just got back today from POR as well and saw two couples with Dixie Landing mugs....too funny! They were bright yellow with black lettering so you couldn't miss them at all. Lots of other resort specific mugs too!

I swear at All Stars last weekend, nearly every mug I saw was from years and years ago. :rotfl: Although at WL the days before, I only saw one family using old WL mugs. Of course, the volume of people going through counter service there was much, much lower.

A few years ago, we not only saw Dixie Landing's mugs but some people brought non-Disney mugs and used them. Too funny!!:rotfl:

When I bought my first DxL mug, back in '99, there was signage up stating that the mugs were good forever. I asked a CM at the register, she said the same thing..."Oh yes mam, you can bring the mug back to DxL every time you come here, for the rest of your life!" Obviously that isn't the case now, but some of us do have mugs that were sold with that understanding. Now, have I brought the mug back? No, too much room taken up in my bags to cart them back and forth.
