My DH just asked if we could drive over and have dinner there one day. He loved the rock shrimp. Are they "in season" in May? I would hate to drive all the way out to Titisville and then not have them on the menu. Thanks!!

I apologize, but I'm not sure of "shrimp season" :lmao: ....

but this is the phone number to call and check prior to making the drive.

Dixie Crossroads is one of my favorite restaurants ever. We've been know to make the drive just to go eat there every once and awhile. The corn fritters are so awsome there. Damn I'm hungry now.

Thanks Kevin. I have tried to look up shrimp season and it is not so easy to find. I will definately call before the hour drive. Basically rock season changes from year to year. Nice hungh. LOL

I love the rock shrimp at Dixie Crossroads.

Me too!!!

We will be in Florida soon :yay: we always make a special trip from our vacation home to Dixie Crossroads at least once each trip!!! :thumbsup2

 them Rock Shrimp and Corn Fritters, I can almost taste them now!!! ;)

Love the corn fritters too. You are making me hungry.

I know what you mean, here I am sipping a Slim Fast shake for breakfast before heading to the gym.....:lmao:

I know I went over after hearing Bob and Corey talk about it and now my DH is hooked on the place. He wants to ride over every trip.:rotfl:

They also have one on I-drive in Festival Bay (?) but it is no where near as good as the original in Titusville!!

I had to take a road trip after this discussion to Dixie Crossroads. I had the rock shrimp. I asked if they had them all the time. The lady said it depends. She advised to call ahead of time to see if they were serving them that day.

Thanks for that. I think we may go even if they dont have them. I think they have the most reasonable seafood and we can do a day at KSC. The lobster and clams were very good also. What are those little fried things they give you for free. I thought it was something different than corn fritters. They were just OK for me but DH loved them.:goodvibes

If you are asking about the little round fried things with powdered sugar on them, they are indeed corn fritters!!! :goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes
