How do you know when "it's time"?

In my case, my ex did something that endangered the life of my youngest child.. That was the final straw for me..

I had no job (had never worked), no money, no education, but I walked away and never looked back..

If it's something you truly need and want to do, you'll find a way..

Best advice, make sure you have a good lawyer, that has your best interest at heart. Some lawyers just look for billable hours and divorces can cost lots of money.

My ex and I decided to get divorced and knew we didn't want to give all our hard earned money to lawyers, but still emotions run high and you don't always think straight.

The best thing we could have done was get divorced. We now have a wonderful relationship and our children are doing really well, better than when we were married. They know they have 2 parents that love them more than anything. Their parents have a ton of respect for each other, but just couldn't live together for various reasons. Your childrens mental health depends on you and your husband. For us, our kids meant the world to us and were our top priority. We just knew we couldn't live together anymore.
