Diving Pin Quest and Lumiere Question

Has anyone done the diving pin quest in the last couple of weeks? I did it for one of my extra character and I am almost positive that the part about buying an item that is in Nautilus Grotto was changed. I remember I used to have to buy a Lumiere... So is it possible that the prize for the new rides is the Lumiere because it is going to be discontinued??

We did for them for a couple of other characters a couple weeks ago and we had to buy him then? So you mean we have to buy something else now? Thanks

Could be like the "buy the hat" question, if you have it in your inventory you already don't have to buy another one.

I just did mine last week. When I bought something in small world imports I just bought lumiere in hopes that was all I needed to buy. Unfortuanately I am so bad at pirates most of the time I ended up buying a pin too.

What I noticed is that when I got to the part with lumiere is said I already had it so it went directly to the next question.

this is correct, if you have it in inventory you don't have to buy it. Also note that the work was the quests would be completely changed so most likely they would not make a change to the old quest at this time. JMO
