[Cloudless Nights]

Hey all!

Does anyone have any recent reviews of the DiveQuest scuba tour at the Seas? I recently got my open water scuba certification, and this experience sounds amazing!

My wife did it last year. She enjoyed it a lot.

I don't scuba, so I observed through the windows.

They do a good job overall, they have a diver filming and they create a DVD of your dive which you can then buy (of course) at the end of your dive.

It's diving in a tank, so it isn't the same as being in the ocean, of course. But you get a good look at all the fish in their tank.

They give you a little tour of the tank area, and talk about how to behave when you are on stage (when you are diving in the tank, people in the Seas looking through the windows may think you are a cast member).

Congrats! I just completed my Open Water certification last week. Hubbs and I are seriously thinking about doing DiveQuest in September. If not then, then the next trip.

Congratulations on the OW certification! I don't have a recent review, but my wife and I did it shortly after she got certified about 12 years ago. Its a really fun, low pressure (literally and figuratively) dive. We especially enjoyed interacting with the guests on the other side of the glass, both in the center of the tank and over at the restaurant windows.

Do yourself a favor though and get a few more OW dives under your belt to get your buoyancy control down. Nothing more annoying than wanting to look at something only to have to fight to stay at that same level.

Do you mean the aquarium tour at Epcot? My DH did that last year and loved it! I was able to watch him through the glass and take some cool video. He really enjoyed himself. It was a nice, easy-going dive and he got to see some pretty fish.
