I hope that this is as good a place as any to post the question. It didn't seem quite right for the dining board.

On Sept. 30th, I'm scheduled on the 4:30 group to do DiveQuest at the Living Seas. They say this takes about 2 1/2 - 3 hours for the full tour/dive. Party for the Senses starts with the 5:45 Eat to the Beat concert and then the official time starts at 6:30.

So....do the math. Even 2 1/2 hours takes me to 7:00, possibly 7:30 at the Living Seas, and then the 10-15 min to head to the place where PFTS is taking place.

Worth the time crunch and the money spent? Would they even be ok with my showing up well over an hour late? Or should I find another event during the weekend instead? (I'm already booking Sweet Sundays but I wanted to do this too. Boo hoo!)

So anyone who has done one or the other, I'd love to hear your thoughts! Thanks!!

I don't think I would try it. I think by the time you change clothes etc and then hike to the WorldShowcase you are really looking at 8. EIther way you have missed at least half the time. It takes quite a while to tour the dining options and for $125 I would want to be sure I tried everything.

I really enjoyed the Party last year and will probably do one this year, but if I was going to arrive that late I would probably pass!

The second Dive Quest starts at 6:30 but.... when my father and stepmother did this, they were on the first dive. We were told to meet them at the gift shop at 6:30. We waited and waited and waited and waited. They showed up at 7:00. They said everyone had such a great time and had questions and watched the video and no one paid attention to the clock. There's no way you'd make even the 6:30 time.

Personally, I'd keep the Dive Quest and reschedule the Party of Senses. And remember the Dive Quest is tax deductible since all proceeds go to research.

Thanks guys. I really appreciate the insights. and:

I had no clue. Thanks for the tip!

A friend of mine did the Dive Quest last month. It takes every bit of the scheduled time. He said it was well worth the price...but I would not schedule another event immediately following the dive.
