Divas, Zebra Domes, and Pixie Dust! A Week in an African Paradise! New TR Link Pg.145

Happy Birthday Conor!

Oh the Beret pictures are adorable! Well they all are, I swear Chelsea never takes a bad picture!

I can never decide as I read TR's....should I try to do Kim Possible...or run screaming away...

It’s Rocky and Bullwinkle!!!

It's moose and squirrrel! (It's hard to roll your 'r' in a Russian accent online!) :rotfl:

This is one of my favorite pictures -- two pensive fellows!

Oh I have to agree, this one is super cute!!! ;)

I do think the Kim Possible mission in the United Kingdom is the cutest one of the bunch. Again, I am not going to reveal ANYTHING about the mission, but I will say that my absolute favorite part of it takes place in the tea shop. So, when you do the KP mission in the United Kingdom remember that.

By the end of mission number 2, Chelsea and I were in desperate need of a break. We headed towards Morocco for lunch and a little henna.

UP NEXT: Why yes, yes, he is an accomplished sitar player.

We didn't get to Kim Possible Missions over our summer trip, but I am anxious to try them this time.... Can you choose which mission(s) you want to try?

I can't wait to hear what you had for QS Lunch in Morocco.. last NOVEMBER we had QS Dinner in Morocco and LOVED it. With the Cantina San Angel changing their menu, DH wants to go back to Morocco for the Shwarma combo! :thumbsup2

Chelsea had a fabulous idea. I love the pictures with hats and products. Don't know if my kids would have the patience for it but I would love to give it a try.

Practicing her royal wave!

When we reached France, we stopped awhile to watch the film Impressions de France. Ahhh, air conditioning, beautiful music (I was thrilled to discover it was one of the tracks on the Four Parks One World CD set I purchased), and stunning scenery. I think we all wanted to visit France for real after experiencing it!

A man and his candy are not easily parted!

Very cute, Chelsea. Brooklynn practices her princess wave, as well.

So does Jill, but she might not want me to tell everyone.

I love the Impressions de France movie for the scenery and the music!
And, like you, I love my CD that lets me listen to it in the car as often as I like! :)

First of all Happy Birthday to Connor!!!! Loved the Star Wars Fandex...that is just too cool. That is definitely something Prince P would enjoy LOL!!!

You have the most photogenic kids ever...I have to say they have the most fun taking pictures and they are all a hoot to look at!! I loved the ones in France...Connor sitting there painting with his beret on and Chelsea looking over at the painting...priceless!

I have to agree with you, I really enjoy the Impressions de France movie! I love the music...especially the flute part in the beginning and the scenery is amazing. I have to tell you the first time I ever saw it, it drove me crazy the entire time trying to think where I had heard some of the music before! I really stopped paying attention because I knew I had heard the music before...then as we were leaving..it came to me, the opening scene of Beauty and the Beast...then I knew I loved it! I have the MP3 of the music and actually made my Youth Group's end of the year video to it...and now you know way too much that you probably didn't want to know in the first place LOL! :rotfl:

Hmmm...2 missions down, I'm assuming more to come LOL!!! This is going to be interesting, although I have written down that I should do the UK one...so here's hoping!

CP, I'm wondering if you think my DS would enjoy the Kim Possible missions? He's four, so I'm wondering if the attention span would be sufficient. My husband really wants to give it a go, I'm sure we could try one? Just wondering what you think.

We've done that before too, the different hats in different spots! It is so much fun! I loved it when DS was an unsuspecting baby, it was so easy to just pop one on his head and snap a quick pick. :lmao: Although, last year we got a fantastic shot of him in the huge sombreros they have in Mexico.

I can't wait to see the accomplished sitar player. ;)

The photos of Chelsea and Connor are so cute.

Connor must have been thrilled that he finally got to do not one, but two KP missions. We did the one in China in August and it was cute. Did you get two different fast passes in order to do two missions?

Can't wait to see the henna!

You must be thrilled that you're so close to an adults only trip. Disney is such a different experience without kids. Have you convinced Charles that a 2010 trip is necessary?

Super update!! Your kids are so cute... and little hams. ;)

I love World Showcase too. I am really excited to try Kim Possible but as many missions as he wanted??? Yikes. I will think of you in the tea shop! Hopefully people don't make fun of the 30-something woman trying to save the world. :lmao: Can you choose where your adventure is or is it the luck of the draw?

Ooh you got henna... can't wait to see what design you chose. Did you also get a tangerine daquiri by chance? :rolleyes1

Fun trip around (and back and forth) through World Showcase! Your kids take such beautiful pictures! I especially love all the hats, they are too cute! And, Happy Birthday Connor!

Hurray!...I love that Connor got to do more Kim Possible Missions-I have to admit ...I liked them too...a lot...a lot a lot...(I would do them without the kids...:confused3...:goodvibes)

Such a cute idea-the hats-you have great photos -I like all of them but the one in Canada...:lmao: posing in different head wear...in the different countries...

Chelsea and Connor enjoy WS-but actually that's a great parent idea for kids who aren't into the natural charm and atmosphere of World Showcase...;)-have them search each country for headgear...you've got yourself a great mom Epcot tip there..;)

I'm glad Connor enjoyed his fandex...:yay:...you'll find it helpful too in trying to keep up with some of the lesser known characters...(I reference it...)...

Hmmm...so who enjoyed the surprise visit from Hans Solo more, you or Connor...:rolleyes1

Oh, I want that Four Parks, One World CD!!!

I'm going to have to look for it online.

Chelsea looks all "america's next top model" in the glam shot in canada!

You are a trooper to allow Connor to do all those Kimpossible missions!

That is a great idea! I bet the kids would get such a kick out of it, and it would be something fun to do when the weather turns cold, and we are stuck in side.

Thank you! I think we might do it too. Where exactly in Georgia are you? We were supposed to move to there a few years ago but we couldn't sell the house.

A couple of days late but Happy Birthday to Connor. It looks like he had a good day.

That is a really great idea of the kids taking pictures with the hats of each country. I really like the one of them in Canada. I am also happy Connor got to do his missions also. Looking forward to seeing the Henna.

How did I get pages behind on this TR??:confused3 Anyway..love the evening at AKL & the African Queen. What a nice way to spend time & then drinks & pool time:cloud9: AH Boma. Love love love this place!! We go for breakfast or dinner every trip. Um I probably should not admit this but I have used the strap on Soarin (I am only 5 feet after all) but have not used it on the last few flights.
I think I feel safe enough without it now:rotfl2:.

CP I know how you feel on leaving the kids to go on a trip. I am planning our 25th anniv. trip for May & am having a hard time thinking about going without our 2 sons & they are 20 & 16 :lmao: Friends are telling me to get a life :lmao:
I think I will be calling today to make our reservations.

Happy belated birthday to Connor!!

Love love love that Notre Dame gargoyle ! I just bought a 1' replica at Michael's today ! Connor is so darn cute !!!!

Happy Birthday Connor!

Chelsea and Connor are just so darn cute! I love them posing in the hats, I think that is one of the best free things to do in WS.

Thank you for Connor's b-day wishes! Can't believe he is ten now!

Thank you for the compliments on C and C's cuteness, too -- Chelsea had such a blast doing the whole hat thing.

Don't you just love the music from France on the Four Parks One World CDs? So relaxing, that is one of my favorites to listen too.

Mine, too! On the second CD, I love Soarin', Impressions de France, and the stuff from DHS.

Happy Belated Birthday, Conner!

I havent done the KP mission in UK but i'd like to request that pavillion this trip!

Thank you! Oh, you definitely should -- the whole mission is just darling!

Happy Birthday Conor!

Oh the Beret pictures are adorable! Well they all are, I swear Chelsea never takes a bad picture!

I can never decide as I read TR's....should I try to do Kim Possible...or run screaming away...

Thank you! Yes, Chelsea is quite photogenic -- I don't know where she gets it from because Charles and I do not take good pictures. You should try the Kim Possible Mission -- they are really well done -- I just happen to have an obsessive child who wants to do something for hours! ;)

It's moose and squirrrel! (It's hard to roll your 'r' in a Russian accent online!) :rotfl:

:lmao::rotfl::rotfl2: I can't begin to tell you how I always wanted to be Natasha -- she had such a cool name and accent.

I think we are going to get a couple of the Rocky and Bullwinkle seasons for Connor for Christmas -- we have an old tape, and he got such a kick out of watching them -- his favorite was when Boris and Natasha decided to start counterfeiting cereal box tops.

I just have to say that I love this picture!:lmao:

Back and forth across the bridge for Kim Possible!?! What a sweet mom you are. That was a hot day!
We may have to try that UK adventure upon your recommendation!

It's one of my favorites and one of my mom's favorites -- I think she has sent a copy of it to all her friends. :lmao:

I didn't really have a choice about the KP since I had told Connor...:rolleyes1

Oh I have to agree, this one is super cute!!! ;)

I just love it!

We didn't get to Kim Possible Missions over our summer trip, but I am anxious to try them this time.... Can you choose which mission(s) you want to try?

You might be able to on the first one -- I know on the subsequent ones we could choose from the menu.

I can't wait to hear what you had for QS Lunch in Morocco.. last NOVEMBER we had QS Dinner in Morocco and LOVED it. With the Cantina San Angel changing their menu, DH wants to go back to Morocco for the Shwarma combo! :thumbsup2

Oh, my stomach starts growling just thinking about eating there -- it was soooo good!

Chelsea had a fabulous idea. I love the pictures with hats and products. Don't know if my kids would have the patience for it but I would love to give it a try.

We had a lot of laughs while doing it! :goodvibes

I love your trip report! Thank you for sharing! :goodvibes

:welcome: I am so glad you are enjoying it!

A man and his candy are not easily parted!

Especially when it is Connor-man!

Very cute, Chelsea. Brooklynn practices her princess wave, as well.

So does Jill, but she might not want me to tell everyone.

I'll admit it -- I do, too...you just never know when it is going to come in handy. :lmao:

I love the Impressions de France movie for the scenery and the music!
And, like you, I love my CD that lets me listen to it in the car as often as I like! :)

It's great early morning music and afternoon music on the way home from school. :goodvibes

First of all Happy Birthday to Connor!!!! Loved the Star Wars Fandex...that is just too cool. That is definitely something Prince P would enjoy LOL!!!

Thank you! It is so neat! The adults were playing with it the most last night. LOL!

You have the most photogenic kids ever...I have to say they have the most fun taking pictures and they are all a hoot to look at!! I loved the ones in France...Connor sitting there painting with his beret on and Chelsea looking over at the painting...priceless!

Thank you! Chelsea and Connor have certainly never met a camera they didn't want to ham it up for!

:rotfl:

Too neat! There was another piece of music during the film that kept nibbling at the edges of my memory -- when I got home I had to research and research, but finally figured out it was the same music they used in the movie Babe.

Hmmm...2 missions down, I'm assuming more to come LOL!!! This is going to be interesting, although I have written down that I should do the UK one...so here's hoping!

Yes, do the UK one -- it was by far my favorite although really, they were all neat in their own ways.
