Good morning ladies!

It is a beautiful morning here in Boise.

Hope you all are doing well! Since it's my day off I plan on doing a whole lot of nothing...well, after church, laundry, cleaning...

Well, we have been on summer break since May 27th. We left on the 28th to gomto WDW for six days followed by a 4 night cruise on the Dream. We had so much fun!

Today is dance recital day. Meghan had her ballet recital at noon and we go back for her tap recital tonight. They have six shows and the noon show had 24 groups performing! She did awesome!

January, that sucks about the taxman payment, but you did the right thing. I bet Maddie is getting so big.

Carol, I hope you find a new job soon. The job market is really tough here. But you have to take care of you first and I'm sure it will all work out.

The weather has been *perfect* here for the last week. In the upper 70's and sunny. I love it. I better enjoy it becasue before I know it it will be close to 100 most days.

PS - Doesn't that just stink about the DL ticket price increase? I am surprised they raised them so much in this economy and before Carsland is complete. Oye.

Hi All! So the big plans around here today are to work in the yard, around the house, and then go see the new X-Men movie. My dmil is taking the kids so dh and I can see it. I am really looking forward to it!

Price increases! I missed that memo. Yuck!

I spent the night in Reno playing black jack. I started with $40 and ended up winning an additional $45. woo hoo I will take it! It's funny how sitting at the table chatting with other players really makes time fly. I didn't crawl into bed until 3 am. This morning my friend paid for us to have breakfast in bed and swedish massages at the hotel spa. It was so relaxing. Now I am just trying to find the energy to finish getting everything ready for camping tomorrow. Have a great week! I will "see" you all when I get home later this week.

Warm weather, awesome!! We have to have one of our backdoors open at work with all the construction going on thanks to our remodel so everyone can go in and out with everything and it was awesome to not be freezing everytime I had to walk by the door. I am so excited for some real summer weather. Not a fan of the rain, not a fan at all!

Definitely a good day! I needed sunshine.

Checking in to say "howdy". Trying to read and get caught up. I'm a little distracted, but I'm trying to do something to keep my mind off of tomorrow. My cat is sick again. She throws up every time she uses the litterbox and won't eat. We have "the appointment" for the final goodbye tomorrow at 10:30. She's only 4. I feel like I have totally failed her as a cat mommy. Hubby is in D.C. this week, so when I come home tomorrow, I will be ALONE in the house for the first time EVER. Who had those 7 cases of wine?

Back to reading, but I probably won't be responding to much. Sorry.

We leave for Yosemite on Monday and I just realized that while it will be in the mid 70's there next week, there is still a ton of snow on the ground! Should make for an interesting trip!

It's been a LONG time since I've been to Yosemite. I need to get back there soon.

Whew! I just spent the past two hours scrubbing my kitchen, which isn't all that large, from top to bottom. My arms hurt, but it's all purty now.
I'm trying to get some cleaning done today because after tomorrow, when all four kids are home all day, forget it. I'll be lucky to keep the place picked up, let alone scrubbed.

My kitchen has this coming. Soon. Well, before the end of Summer, anyway.

Why yes, yes there are bears! I've had a "close encounter of the bear kind" twice. The first time was camping with the a$$hat first husband. It was a small bear (teenager) and s/he was rummaging thru the trash not far from our campsite. The second time was walking back to the lodge from dinner. Came around a bend in the path and THERE WAS A BEAR. Standing right in the middle of the paved walkway. Just looking at us. We just backed away up the path and the bear ambled off into the shrubs.

I'm all caught up. Sorry to say I did not retain a lot of what I read. I hope you are all doing fantastic.

My convention is in 28 days. I have 8 swaps I am signed up for and I have finished three. Unfortunately, they are the three smallest ones. The rest all require "new product" from our catalog that goes live on July 1. Placing an expedite on my order for overnight shipping will have my order arrive here on July 6 (happy birthday to me) and I leave for Convention on the 12th. Should be a FUN SIX DAYS. Do NOT expect to see me in here from July 7 thru 18. LOL I'm even sending hubby to his mom's the weekend of July 10 so I don't have to cook, clean, shower or be sociable. LOL

Again, I'm sorry I'm so antisocial lately, but between Convention, the issue with my cat here and all the other little things going on (hubby is in DC all week - my BFF's son was married this last weekend), I'm feeling a little "scrambled".

And I'm still trying to figure out when I can get to DL. The days I had planned, I went to book HoJo last night and the AP rate was gone (had been there the day before). So I'm back to the drawing board on that too. SIGH.

Oh Lisa, I am so sorry girlfriend.

We had to put our beloved siamese cat of 14 years down two years ago and I was alone. DH couldn't make it and I had to say goodbye by myself. I was hysterical and it was very difficult. I send you strength and pixie dust. And none of this nonsense talk of being a failed cat mommy. You are such a caring person, I know you did the best you could. I wish I had more comforting words. *HUGS*

Now plan that next DL trip so I can meet up with you and share a meal and some fun park time.

Hi Ladies,

I feel like I keep neglecting the DIS I signed up for another session of hip hop which starts this week. I dropped one of them because it's the same teacher (the previous teacher moved out of state), the floor of the room is really dirty and your shoes stick to it so it's hard to dance. There are also a few in the class who are really disruptive. I figured it was time to bail and just stick to the other place. It's much cleaner and easier to move around and the students in the class are older.

Sarah-I heard that TLM vinyl and Goofy's Sky School vinyl are being released July 8th. I really want one. They are so cute! I will verify with a CM this weekend when I go.

I noticed on FB that there are a few Divas at the park? I hope I get to see some of of you. I will be there this weekend to meet up with some friends.


Some of my friends recently had me ride HM 3 times (not in a row)! For some reason the ambiance of the HM freaks me out and scares the bageezus out of me! If it's Nightmare themed, I am so happy and love it! I don't know why. The 2nd time I went on it with friends I nearly had a heart attack. We got stuck in the graveyard scene and I hated it. Those dang zombies that pop up behind the tombstones still freak me out.

I recently went to DL with my best friend. She and I have not been to the park together since jr high. It was really fun to get to hang with her. She loved the Aladdin show and the Genie was on fire with his jokes! I loved his jokes. I am kinda sad that the tortilla factory in DCA closed down but I hear it's going to be a Ghiradelli factory. I wonder if it will be like the one in SF? She went on TLM and said: "Hey! They cut out a big chunk of the story!!" We didn't make it onto Star Tours. I still haven't been on it but I don't really care. I will get it on it when the crowd dies down. I had my friend try a lemon cupcake from Hungry Bear. She said it was the best thing she's ever tasted! lol!

So how is everyone doing? I really need to try to post more but I'm glad I can keep up with you guys on FB. to alll the Divas.

Hello ladies!!

I woke up way too early this morning, 5-something. Ugh. I was feeling lazy and tired and wanted to go back to bed. Then I went into the twin's room and inspiration struck. I got a burst of energy and cleaned, organized and rearranged their entire room. I've been doing things around the house ever since.........but I think I'm starting to wind down because a nap is starting to sound good.

And none of this nonsense talk of being a failed cat mommy. You are such a caring person, I know you did the best you could.
