DIT-Winner! Scrapping with SWAP items - Round 13

I actually have all of mine sorted in binders

I wish mine were organized. Mine are still in the bags. At one time they were sorted, but still in the bags. I need to spend some time sorting again so I can get my disney albums started. I have them in beer boxes. I looked into binders but decided they cost too much.

:rolleyes1 I've labeled my boxes they were returned in. Does that count as organized?
:rotfl2:

I keep mine in their baggies so I know who made it and then file them in folders by theme and put the folders in a big fabric bin that a friend gave me. When she first gave me the bin I didn't know what I'd do with it, but it's been perfect for this! I need to use more of my swap pieces, though, because the bin is getting full!

Mine are sorted into drawers- I have 15 small (8.5 by 11) of themes- such as Pooh, cooking, school, travel, times of year, different holidays, color swaps, pirates, ect.; then I have 5 12 by 12 drawers- 1 for each park and 1 for the fab 5; then I have 2- 10 by 10 by 10 drawers- one for resorts(including resort restraunts) and one for around WDW. I also have a 12 by 12 by 4 inch box for other characters and another for other parks (Seaworld/Universal), then i have a large bag(old purse) for my princess things. I have a large storage tote that I keep my completed pages in (without photos). My recipes/song swap are taking up an entire shelf in my living room. And I use my swaps all the time. If the drawers have room for things to stay in bags they do until I put them with specific pages for kitting, Once a drawer is too full things come out of baggies.

I have mine about 80% organized, using the Buffy Binder System, and I have some in Cropper Hopper Sticker envelopes. The remaining 20% are in an under the bed size plastic storage. Those are baggied by swap. I think I have used about 3 swap pieces total, but I haven't scrapped for myself at all in 2008. 2009 that is my goal, less swaps more scrapping.

I think Rebecca needs a vacation in Ohio.
:)

Not till summer- the cold weather down here is killing me. And the killer with my swap items is that I use them all the time. Even when I am not posting things in the swapping with swapped item I use them. I have done over 700 pages this year and I would guess that close to 500 of them have some swap items on them.

Great pages, DIT, rlovew and 123SA!

I have all my swap stuff in large priority mail boxes on the top shelf of my scrap closet. There is a box for each park (MK and Epcot have 2 boxes), one for resorts, one for restaurants and characters and one for Misc. They are also pretty well organized inside the box using ziplock bags and grouped by Land/Ride, etc. If I joined a non-Disney swap (very rare for me), it found a home in an appropriate location (Christmas slide mounts into the Christmas box, etc.)

I've got some in priority boxes, some in drawers and a whole box of the colour and super sports right handy to pull out:goodvibes

Once I'm back up to date I might sort them more logically;)

six more pages with swapped items from the super sports and more swap. Photos tomorrow.

Yay for supersports:banana: That and the colour swap have saved my sorry a** while my hand is bad:goodvibes (Scrapping is cheaper than therapy:rolleyes1 )

Rats! Forgot to quiz the kids for their top ten!

Will they remember it now?

If not, you could just put in your favorites. ;)

Looks like you had a great Zoo day:goodvibes We're going to Holland in the summer and will be near two safari places - I can stretch a point;) to use stash!

But I want to use them now! (But too cold for zoos - we actually had white stuff Sunday:scared1: )

I like your zoo pages Susan! And, you used my stuff!!!!!!:cool1: That's great that you were able to make coordinating pieces so go with the ones I made. They look like they were all done together!:thumbsup2

Thanks! I was happy about that, altough it took me many cuts to get the sizes of those animals right.

I don't think I cut those animals out all at the same size either, did I? I've gotten good at writing down what I cut things at now (since the ABC page prototypes) so if it comes up again, ask me and I may actually know what I did and save you some time and paper!

Nope they weren't! When I started it, I thought it would easy. Took me a few cuts to realize that part
of my problem was that I was using the wrong function key.
