Is there anywhere on Disney property that i can buy distilled water? We are flying and hoping not to spend $12 to have a gallon of distilled water delivered from garden grocer. We wont have access to a car to go offsite either. I know others suggest using tap water, but it is a new machine and I dont want to mess it up.

mail some ahead to the hotel you will be staying at. A bit pricy but less than delivery. Karen

I have a cpap and what I do is buy regular bottles of water (the small sizes) and pack those in my checked luggage. It is not distilled but, in my realm of reality :lmao:, is better than tap water. I did that last November when we went on the Disney cruise and it didn't bother my machine at all. I still use distilled at home but have found that for a short period of time it hasn't hurt it. One thing that I would suggest is bringing an extension cord just in case the side of the bed you sleep on isn't really close to an outlet.

you don't even need distilled water for a short stay - the water stays in the tray and you breathe the air that passes OVER it, it never touches any other part of the machine. The reason they recommend distilled is so it doesn't make mineral deposits in the tray with prolonged use. Just clean it out when you get home. In fact, in Florida, it's so humid, I discovered I didn't even need the humidifier on my cpap, when it started raining in my mask, lol.

I have had it "rain" on me too....boy that was not the best way to wake up! :headache: Nothing like a little water on your nose to ruin a good night sleep. :rotfl2:
