Distance on-site hotels to parks

Hi,

My wife has mild arthritis so walking all day is difficult.
So to minimize the non-essential walking when booked on-site at the RPR.
Is this close to the parks, how long is the walk from hotel to park entrance.
I read that the HRH is closer, by how much in time ?
If difference is only minimal then we'll keep our stay at the RPR.

I've timed the walk from HRH (using the "back" entrance through the pool area) to USF at under six minutes.

RPR is about a 10 minute walk to IOA. Or you can take the water taxi to CityWalk.

We stayed at RPR last time and nearly always walked because it was faster than waiting for the boat.

Walking in the parks alone can be exhausting. Sometimes it feels like you can't make it another 10 yards especially with blisters. If you are looking for the least amount of walking you should stay at RPR and try for Tower 3 near the elevator . Taking the boat to IOA is over 1100' closer than walking.
To go to US from RPR take the bus and you walk over 400' less than the HRH shortcut that Kelly timed. Both the bus and the boat can have waits but have places to sit. The boat ride is nice and the bus is air conditioned and the ONLY way to go in the rain when the boats are stopped.
