distance from polynesian's tahiti to the ttc???

i was wondering if anyone here can tell me the approximate distance from the polynesian's tahiti to the TTC?

Not familiar with buildings by name... so I can't tell you how far from Tahiti... but from the Great Ceremonial House (the Main Building) it is only about a 5 minute walk to the TTC... It is very close, regardless of what building you are in at the Poly

I would agree with LibertyBelle... 4-5 minute walk, and it's a nice walk too!

We just stayed at Tahiti a few weeks ago. It seemed to us like it is equal distance to walk to the Grand Ceremonial house or walk the other direction to the TTC. Somehow the walk to the Grand Ceremonial House just seemed longer to us. Probably because it was our resort but we were the furthest from the main building and pool. However, I wanted to be further away from the action (hopefully quieter) and we had an awesome lagoon view. So, we put up with the walk.

We were in the Tahiti bldg(rm 3046) for our stay in Nov. I really liked that building. It seemed like a longer walk to the main house than to the TTC. We caught all of our monorails and most of the busses from the TTC.

There is a little walkway not far from the center doors. Just take that walkway, cross a road (Disney access only, no public access. We only saw a car once and a golf cart once. BOth times they stopped to let us pass) walk a few more steps and you are entering the gate.

They always had a gate open at the end closest to the Poly so it made things easier.

I think if we went back I'd request Tahiti again. Just for the convenience of transportation.

We stayed in Tahiti in Feb and I requested that building specifically. I agree that the TTC does seem much closer than the main building, to get the monorail there you have to go thru it and up steps.
We rode the monorail alot but by the end of our vacation we got to be able to time the ferry perfectly. We would see it pulling into the dock, leave our room, walk briskly and board before it left to go back to the MK. My DD loved that ride, it was quick and fun.

not to mention the lagoon view of the Castle is just Magical!

how far in time - that depends upon how fast you walk.

I would think no greater than 100 yards - (probably less)

the only thing that separates it from the TTC is a small path and some brushes - you are walking along a path that is stated as a walking path so you have the right of the way.

You enter TTC near the ferry.
