Distance from LA Convention Center to Disneyland

I've never been to Calif. How far is Disneyland from the LA Convention Center? Are there hotels that would be convenient to both locations? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

The LA Convention Center is downtown Los Angeles. Disneyland is about 20 - 30 miles East. I could not recommend a hotel that is convenient to both.

We stayed at the Downtown Marriott which is just a few blocks from the convention center, yet a 30-40 minute drive to DL.

How is the drive from the LA Convention Center to Disneyland/CA? I'm use to driving in Chicago and Philadelphia, but I've heard driving in LA is horrendous. Thanks for your help.
