Distance from DC to SW/Dolphin Swim?

Hi,

I'll be there next week. How far is it from SW to DC? Can you walk? At our hotel you can ride the trolley to SW. It does not stop at DC.

I heard a few stories on the radio and in the news about "amourous" dolphins. One "fell in love" with Demi Moore at a recent encounter. Any one have any "romantic" experiences with a dolphin at DC?

DC is across the street from SW. I think there are shuttles from SW to DC.
