distance from caribbean beach resort

Greetings! This is my first ever posting on ANY website. This certainly looks like the one to begin with. We are staying at the CBR during the 1st week of June. According to other posts, you can see Epcot fireworks from there. Is it within walking distance of Epcot, or for that matter, anything else. Thanks for ALL of the great information. I look forward to "joining in the group".

Not really within walking distance unless you walk on the roadside which is very dangerous. Just grab the resort transportation.

Welcome to the board! It's very informative here. We stayed at the CBR in June '02 and just loved it. You can see the Epcot fireworks from various places, including the Parrot Cay Island viewing area (picnic tables included!).

You really can't walk to any of the parks. We stayed in room 4251 in Jamaica which was a water view 2nd floor room and it was terrific. The ice machine, quiet pool, laundry, and parking was super close (although we never moved our car the entire seven day stay). The bus system Disney has is wonderful. We never waited more than 8-9 minutes for a bus to where ever we were headed that particular day. And the bus stop for Jamaica is close and it's the first one picking up and dropping off. It's about a 4 -5 minute walk to the big pool and the dining area. But you get to enjoy the wide open resort feel while you walk. You'll just love it there!

WELCOME TO THE DIS! I love this site although i do have a few others i check out this is my main disney site.

We will be staying at CBR for the first time this summer too.

I love the CBR. We watched the fireworks at the Banana Cabana pool bar. Not as exciting as being there though.

The resort is hugh, and driving or taking the bus is the only way to go.

You can see the Epcot fireworks from Caribbean Beach but you can't walk to the parks. It is much easier to take the bus or drive your car.
