Distance from Budget Rental Car to Raddison

Just wondering if the distance between the Budget Rental Car Agency and the Raddison is walkable. Still trying to decide if we should rent car for the 1 day from the airport to the hotel. Thanks

It did not look very far, but why would you need to walk? Just drop all your luggage & family off at terminal. Return car to Budget & hop on their shuttle back to terminal.

We rented a vehicle for about $50-$60 each way. Was cheaper for us doing it this way than any other method.

I dropped off our rental car at budget, then walked back to my family at the Radisson. It was about 1/4 mile and took about 5-10 minutes. This worked out really well for us. I dropped off around 10:00. We had a 11:30 shuttle res for the Radisson shuttle, and it was nice to have this "TO DO" done and out of the way.

BTW, We plan to use Budget for one way trips also this September. There have been lots of great threads on this board about it, but I don't have the links.

It sounds like it is pretty smooth (they much deal with cruisers a lot).

It is definitely walking distance from Budget to the Raddison (only about a block or so.) We just used Budget for one way to/from the ship/airport for the 5/15 Eastern.

We just used budget for the May 8th cruise. Stayed at the Radisson, got up ate breakfast. We drove to budget, dropped off the car and took their van to the terminal. They drop you off right by where your luggage needs to go. Was in the terminal by 10:30 with little to no effort.

Repeated procedure for going back. Went to the tent where our luggage was dropped off. Waited in the budget pick up line for about 10 minutes and were on our way.

I just reserved my Budget car for both directions and I'm only paying $29 each day - that's WAY better than any other transfer, DCL or private for 4 people.

Well I booked for May 2005 - although they have a $27.99 a day special right now and I plugged in Sept 3 just to see and got that rate. On the home page, below the large picture it says 'hot deals' and then 3 smaller pictures - and nationwide compact car for 27.99 is one of them. Try again
